READ. OR. DIE!
If you didn't know yet, the entire staff is very excited about this show. We originally said back in November that we'd start showing it in January, but obviously, we pushed it back a month (due to delays in the last episode of the show).
Um, did we mention Read Or Die is starting? Okay, okay. For the rest of the schedule, we've got our wrap-up of the excellent Dual (to be followed with yet anothe new series next month). Noir continues from its great reception last month, as does Crest of the Stars. We finally get around to Kodomo no Omocha #21 (we originally stopped with #20 a couple of years ago). And we have 2 of the shows you voted for this month: The Samurai and Roujin Z! They're both very good in their own ways. The Samurai is a comedy, while Roujin Z is a thoughtful exploration of how we treat our elderly, though there's still plenty of action in it. And now, we give you our very own schedule.

This Month's Schedule
*All times are approximate, so try to be early!
Some shows may not be appropriate for all audiences!
12:30 Kodomo no Omocha #21
(Subtitled, Indescribable frantic Comedy)
Titled "There Might be a Small Sized Hayama!" in this episode, Sana visits the orphanage where Naozomi grew up. To her utter horror, one of the kids in the orphanage behaves like a mini-Hayama! Naturally, this means war!
---Subbed by Kodocha Anime
 1:00 Dual #14
(Subtitled, Sci-fi/Action)
In "Final Frontier," Peace has finally come to Kazuki's life now that the two dimensions have been merged into one, or has it. As rumors of a surviving artifact begin to surface, Kazuki's life will be thrust into a new whirlpool of manipulation and deception. What is the artifact that they're fighting over, and to what lengths will the competitors go to win Kazuki's support?
---Subbed Pioneer LDCA
1:25 Crest of the Stars #2
(Subtitled, Sci-fi/Drama)
The Abh invasion of the planet Martine ended quickly when Jinto's father cut a deal with the Abh. In "Kin of the Stars," Jinto is leaving to go to school to become a noble in the Abh Empire. What will happen when Jinto meets a real Abh for the first time?
---Subbed by Bandai Entertainment, Inc.
 1:50 Read Or Die #1
(Subtitled, Sci-fi/Adventure)
Yomiko Readman seems to be a typical substitute teacher and bookworm, whose only passion is collecting and reading books. When a league of super-criminals appears and begins to wreak havoc, a super-secret British spy agency must go forth to combat them. When the criminals are stealing rare books, then Yomiko gets interested. But what can a 25-year old substitute teacher do against people with super powers? Watch and you'll see! This is generally agreed by the entire staff to be the best show last year!
---Subbed by Studio Yoissho!
2:20 Abunai! Break time!
(Karma dictates that you should come to the meeting)
Stamp, stamp, stamp (of the "Frequent Viewer" cards). Plus the usual door prizes and whatnot (you do know what a whatnot is, right?) You only live once, so get to it!
---We're not from Bandai
3:05  Noir #2
(Subbed, Drama/Action)
"Our Daily Bread" Mireille and Kirika take on a job right in France. It seems straightforward enough: one political faction needs to take out someone in the other faction. But when the two women get to the target area, they find that not everything is as it seems!
---Subbed by Studio Yoissho!
 3:35 The Samurai
(Subtitled, Action/Comedy)
Takeshi is a high school student training to be an honest-to-goodness samurai. When two girls show up one day to recover a family heirloom, he'll need all his skills to evade them. But he has one weakness, and they'll use the most shocking technique to exploit it! It's the hilarious story of a young man facing typical school worries: studying, hanging out, and samurai girls trying to kill him!
---Subbed by Project Daicon
 4:20 Roujin Z
(Subtitled, Sci-fi/Action)
Though from the same man who did Akira (Otomo Katsuhiro), this movie's a lot better. Haruko is a hard-working nursing school volunteer, helping to take care of the infirm Mr. Takazawa. One day, the government takes him away to be the subject of a welfare experiment, a robotic bed to care for his every need. It would be okay if the bed didn't have ideas of its own! This is a very odd, very touching classic about a girl, an old man, a walking bed, the military, and... well, you'll see!

 5:05 Love Hina #11
(Subtitled, Romance/Comedy)
"Going For Todai! Idol is a Prep School Student! Don't Sing!" Naru won the Hinata City Idol Concert sponsored by Sakata Kentao and his friends. She immediately becomes a popular idol, and is so busy that she stays at a hotel. Is this the end of Keitaro dream of passing the exams and going to Todai with Naru?
