September 2005 No-Name Anime schedule

SEPTEMBER 10TH MEETING
We're making a (we think) permanent switch to the 2nd Saturday of each month starting this month, so make a note of it!
Note: Some of the printed flyers show the wrong date (20th), which is a Tuesday. We apologize for this mistake and hope nobody actually shows up on the 20th!
Following last month's lead, we double up on Ghost in the Shell this month, because double helpings of Major Kusanagi and the Tachikomas can't be a bad thing. Like Master Keaton? He'll be there. Craving a different kind of horror? Check out Mermaid's Forest. We also wrap up (loosely speaking) Giant Robo this month, before starting on the related GinRei specials next month. And of course, we still have Chrono Crusade and the hilarious Dokkoida as well!
Please note, card stamping will take place at some random time. You have to be there when it happens, or you'll miss it.

In "Into the Vast Sky", Keaton's daughter Yuriko helps a boy whose parents worry he wants to commit suicide in this story about freedom and a hawk.

In part 1 of "Promised Tomorrow", Yuuta and Mana go to visit the grave of Nae, a woman Yuuta knew 60 years ago. But when he runs into an old man named Soukichi, he hears that Nae is still living at her fiancé's manor. But how can this be, if she died?
