No-Name's Annual San Diego Comic Con Trip
(First, a quick note: Don Yee just told us he's going to get married! If you know who he is, make sure you offer him your congrats! -- We now return you to your regularly scheduled web page...) The end of the second day found the No-Name staff staggering around in exhaustion and looking for dinner. Being the lazy bums we are, we walked into the first place we found. To our surprise, it was really, really, really good! Rei Do Gado is a Brazilian steak house where they keep bringing various kinds of skewered, grilled meats to the tables, as long as you can eat them. And the food was absolutely delicious. If you're in the area and like meat, try this place.

You can see various naval ships in port from here.	And the beautiful bridge across the bay.	The marina in back of the convention center.	You can eat outdoors, too, at the convention center.
Under the sails is where the autograph lines are.	More of the sails area.	And still more.	THis is the upstairs ballroom area in the new section.

We're not actually sure what the costume is.	$100 will get you the really nice Cowboy Bebop model of the Swordfish II.	This little girl was so cute!	Yoda about to kick bootie!
The Bolt Shop had some interesting items on display.	Greg Evans (creator of the Luann comics), signing our purchases.	You can also read Luann online.	$45-$65 will get you custom airbrush T-shirts here.
A new comics/magazine company.	Screenplay.com has some great endorsements by famous writers.	Freeze, and hand over your purchases!	This is a view out the front of the convention center.

Yes, it's the Muppet Mobile.	Atari (Infogrames) was here with displays of Neverwinter Nights and other games.	Booths are now grouped by category. Here's the Anime and Manga section.	Gentle Giant Studios was demonstrating some sort of laser scanning system.
Lou Ferrigno, the Incredible Hulk, was there.	Another friendly face to attract passersby.	You can check out some funny clothes at Ruthless Clothing Co.	Excellently sculpted busts of Cthulu (but did the sculptor go insane?)
Mirage Toys even had figures from Big Trouble in Little China	Don Yee introduced us to Ruby at the Newtype booth.
